A classically trained artist with extensive experience in many mediums, Annie Strack has been published in numerous magazines, including Art Calendar, The Artists Magazine, The Crafts Report, Watercolor Magazine, Wooden Boat, Harmon Homes, Inside Northside, Northlake News, Country Roads, House & Home, Gulf Coast Arts Review, & Gallery Insider. She is the author of 'The Artists Guide to Business and Marketing,' and since 2005 she’s been a monthly columnist and feature writer for Art Calendar Magazine; the premier national business magazine for professional artists. Her paintings have received hundreds of awards, and she has earned the prestigious honor of Signature Membership in the International Society of Marine Painters, American Artists Professional League, US Coast Guard Artists Program, Wyoming Watercolor Society, and Alabama Watercolor Society. She is also an Official Authorized Artist for the US Coast Guard. Her work is exhibited in museums and galleries throughout the country, and featured in 19 solo shows. She exhibits in a multitude of national and international juried shows and her paintings have won hundreds of prestigious awards. She is an expert exhibit curator and art business consultant, and a highly admired art show juror and popular workshop instructor Her art is in over 1,000 collections worldwide, including the US Coast Guard, US Navy, US Senate, US Pentagon, Fredonia Museum of Art, Zigler Museum of Art, Lake Pontchartrain Maritime Museum, Jefferson Parish Courthouse, St. Tammany Parish, New Orleans World Trade Center, Biloxi Sun-Herald, & many more.
